Hello Everyone!
Thanks again for making a great event on Wednesday, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and from the sounds of it everyone else did too. Thanks also for your parking money; we were able to give something back to the farmer for the maintenance of the road - and hopefully access to this great area in the future as well.

Last Minute Update!
Hi everyone,
Thanks for all the entries - we have more than 150 people registered for maps now! Forecast is good - so fingers crossed.
A couple of important last minute details:

A couple of important last minute details:
- Rhodes Road is no longer closed so you can access the start from there now (past the raspberry cafe)
- We recommend full body cover - there is onga onga, bush lawyer and matagouri on the course
- Remember $5 per car for parking
- Bring a santa suit if you have one!

Start Location Details!
We can finally tell you where you need to drive to next Wednesday! Access is off the Old Tai Tapu Rd and parking will be signposted up a driveway from where Rhodes Rd turns into Otahuna Rd. Currently you can not drive down Rhodes Rd (there is some kind of construction going on) so you will have to take a detour down Cossars Rd onto Otahuna Rd. See the map below.
Please Note: The landowners have kindly allowed us to park on their farmland for this event, but they have asked for a fee of $5 per car. We will collect this when you arrive, so please remember to have your $5 cash handy - look forward to seeing you there!

Christmas Rogaine Update!
Hi everyone!
Thanks for all the map requests we have recieved already - keep them coming so we can guarantee you a map.
Registration and map collection will be open from 4.30 pm onwards on the night. In the next few days I will be posting the start/finish location and some final details so keep an eye out for that.

Ho Ho Ho the Christmas Rogaine is ON!
Hi everyone!
We are excited to present the 2011 Christmas Rogaine! More details will follow shortly; we are working hard to sort things out with the landowners and will provide more information as soon as we get it.
In the mean time we can tell you it will take place on an exciting and brand new map at the southern end of the Port Hills.
DATE: Wednesday 21st December
TIME: 6pm to 8.30 pm
8.30 - 9pm Christmas Party
So the event will be a slightly unusual length - 2.5 hours. The last 1/2 hour of a 3 hour rogaine is usually the hardest bit, so we thought we would substitute that for a bit of eating and post-rogaine chat instead. We will have some Christmas goodies to give out as prizes and some little eats for everyone to enjoy afterwards.
The cost for entry is $20 pp, $15 for student or unwaged people and free if your under 10.
ENTRIES
Entries will be taken on the night but we will be printing the maps on Tuesday so if you want to be gauranteed a map you need to email christmas.rogaine@gmail.com before Monday 19th at 22.00
A few little rules: We prefer you to compete in teams of 2 or more, but talk to us if you want to go it alone. Kids under the age of 12 need to be accompanied by an adult.
